Merry Christmas

As I sit here in the early hours of Christmas morning thinking about the reason for the season, I could not let the sun rise without wishing each and every one of you, “Merry Christmas.”

Soon my “Silent Night” will become “Joy to the World” and the wonder of Christmas will fill the rooms and rooftops here.

Until then….I leave you with this Christmas blessing:

May the spirit of Christmas bring you peace.

May the gladness of Christmas bring you hope.

May the warmth of Christmas grant you love.

  1. Kari, you and your reconnection via your blog is counted as one of my many blessings.

I am in the early quiet of Christmas morning, and I am listening to I Heard The Bells On Christmas Day. It has been my favorite since I was eight years old. And, I do hear His bells tolling for each and every one of us. He is our hope and constant, and I can’t imagine life without this greatest blessing of all.

I will be thinking of you and your Joy To The World with a warm heart and a smile on my face. Please give my love and wishes to Kijsa, too. Our son and grandson will be here with happy hearts this afternoon.

As I type this, I am having thoughts of my father and your father, too. While I know how much we miss them, I can turn my head and sigh sweetly knowing they have reached the ultimate pinnacle.

Love to you and yours from me and my family.

  2. As I sit here with my wonderful cup of coffee I am thinking of just how blessed I am. I surely count God bringing you and your wonderful family into my life as one the sweetest blessings I have received recently. How blessed we are when people are put in our path who we can laugh with, cry with and pray with. What a package!!
I am truly thankful for you.

Hope all of you are having a wonderful Christmas with family and friends.

    Merry Christmas!

  3. Merry Christmas to you, too. My house is filled with warmth and peace this morning and I am feeling content and blessed. Anticipating a brand new year with thankfulness.

  4. Merry Christmas to you too! We celebrated early yesterday because my husband had to work today (firefighter). So today feels more like the day after Christmas for us. I couldn’t help but notice your first comment had the name Kijsa in it. I am just now realizing that you are the Kari that went with Kijsa! I used to read y’all’s blog all the time. How about that! No wonder your blog is so good! Ha! Hope you have a peaceful day today with your family.

  5. Lovely blessing, Dear One…

“The soup simmers all afternoon, the fragrant steam wafting through the kitchen, warming our faces and tempting our taste buds as we take turns giving the post a friendly stir.” ~~Susanne Barrett

  6. I love all your whites! Soooo soothing and lovely! Merry Christmas to you, too – one day late! Perhaps I should say, Happy Boxing Day instead!
    Hugs, Cindy

  7. I wanted to thank you for the beautiful Christmas wishes, Kari – and I pray that you will be blessed with a safe, happy, and healthy New Year! I’m so glad to have crossed paths with you out here in blogland! 🙂
