I wish I knew how to draw an arrow on a picture.
If I could draw an arrow, I would add an arrow to this picture of the kitchen to show you where the butler’s pantry is.
Can you imagine an arrow?
Look at the picture of the kitchen and then (with your mind, of course because I don’t know how to draw the aforementioned arrow) and draw a line pointing to the doorway between the hutch and the cabinet.
You are so brilliant.
You draw an arrow much better than I ever could anyway.
So now that we have gotten this arrow business straightened out….
I would like to introduce you to the butler’s pantry.
Let’s put it this way….
It’s come a long way.
Even without the arrow 🙂
I love butler’s pantries and yours is fantastic! I had one in my 100+ year house when I bought it but had to remove it during the reno – so I could get my island! Too bad I had to choose!
Does yours always look this pristine?!
Kelly
I wish I could draw an arrow, too. I am just not that savvy. Love your butler’s pantry. I am however, feeling very “unneat” at the moment.
Laura
You have a gorgeous home! I might cook more often if I had a kitchen like that! Thanks for stopping by my blog today! Best wishes for the new year!
Hugs, Cindy
Oh-my-gracious! This post should be “categorized” under “Amazing Transformations.” What a super job you have done!!!
Oh please, I just *have* to come visit you. Your house is so lovely.
Do you do Scheduled Tours? ,-)
Have you considered doing Scheduled Tours, Dear One? 🙂
Oh I know! I’m silly. But your house ISSSSSSSSS lovely! So I CAN be a little silly. 🙂
“The soup simmers all afternoon, the fragrant steam wafting through the kitchen, warming our faces and tempting our taste buds as we take turns giving the post a friendly stir.” ~~Susanne Barrett
Now I’m feeling bad for turning my pantry into a laundry room.
Absolutely stunning!
Your butler’s pantry is beautiful!!! I love the tidiness and the simplicity of it. And of course I LOVE your pretty kitchen. I adore the chandeliers, they add such an elegance to the farmhouse look. You have an elegant farmhouse kitchen and now with a fabulous butler pantry, too!
I hope your Christmas was “merry and bright!”
Hugs, Cindy
I just read all the way through to your very first post where you mentioned that your “forever and ever” house sat waiting with peeling wall paper, etc and etc. I would love to see you do some before and after posts, showing the revitalization of your beautiful home. I, for one, and I know many others too, would enjoy it tremendously.
Hugs, Cindy
Your Butler’s Pantry is fabulous! I love, love, love it! Did I say that enough? Your home is beautiful, as is your blog! I see other’s say they recognize you from Kari and Kijsa. I haven’t followed blogs until recently and I’m not familiar with your first blog. I can just imagine what it must have looked like. Even though I didn’t know you then, I’m happy to have found you now! You provide such inspiration through your lovely home! May your New Year be full of blessings! Betsy
haha I can’t figure out how to draw an arrow either! I like your way better anyway:)
Your butler’s pantry is fabulous but then so is your kitchen! Everything is perfect, I’m in love with your center island, it’s fabulous! My kitchen is big enough for one but I can’t decide if I want one or not, don’t know if I would get used to walking around it which is something I would have to do. Anyway, adore yours!
Rebecca
Oh my, it doesn’t even look like the same room! Love it! Arrow or no arrow!
Debbie

It has come a long way, and it is absolutely gorgeous. If I dare dream of a pantry, I will definitely dream of yours.
It is beautiful – with or without an arrow.
It sure has and it is somethin’ else! Just so pretty! I would give up second born for a pantry…oh wait, I only have one child…darnit!
Hi Karianne,
Okay, you know I love your kitchen and now you have to show me this too!
It is just gorgeous…love all of your white china so crisp & fresh!!

What a beautiful kitchen and a wonderful pantry! Love the whole thing! Linda
Wow, the butlers pantry (and your kitchen altogether) are really gorgeous! Kudos to you… arrow or not ; )
Open the picture in paint (Start menu —> accessories—-> Paint) and draw an arrow. Simple stuff.
To open, pant—>file—>open—> choose picture.
LOL. Even without an arrow its fantastic 🙂

That sounded bad.
I don’t know which is better, your pantry, or your non-existant arrow. Beautiful space, great writing!
Ok Kara was right . . . . I’m already in love!! Beautiful kitchen.
So today I decided to sit down and browse through some of my favorite blogs. But I couldn’t do that, you see. Because this Butler’s Pantry has stopped me in my tracks. I am truly, madly, deeply in love. It had me at hello. And at all the white dishes. And the milk glass. That is all.
